Linn Community Care (formerly the Family Practice Center) is the primary care office setting for the Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation.  The Foundation is a recognized Family Medicine residency-training program.

The doctors at Linn Community Care are resident physicians and their faculty mentors.  Residents are M.D.'s or D.O.'s who are completing a three-year training program in Family Medicine.  Faculty are experienced physicians with special interests in teaching both doctors and patients.

Twenty-one residents and eight faculty physicians personally see patients at Linn Community Care. All eight faculty physicians supervise the care given by the resident physicians.  In addition, we have a full-time behavioral psychologist and a doctor of pharmacology on our faculty.

When you become our patient, your appointments will be made with your assigned doctor.  We make every effort to schedule all your appointments with your doctor.  If, for some reason your doctor is not available, we will make an appointment for you with another doctor.  We are committed to providing you with high quality health care, current treatment and diagnosis methods, modern technology and affordable prices.

We welcome you to our practice!
