What happens if my doctor asks me to come into the office after reviewing my Virtual Office Visit?

We expect that sometimes the information you provide us about your medical problems will concern us.  If we decide we need to see you in the office to complete your Visit, we will credit the $25 VOV payment towards the cost of the office visit and bill in the usual manner.

Why don't you bill my insurance company for the Virtual Office Visit?

The "Virtual Visit" is a convenience designed to care for minor problems in our established patients.  We believe that for selected problems, we can provide excellent care at a lower cost using this web site.  Because this is a new idea, many insurances have not caught up with the idea yet and do not cover this kind of visit.  We will provide you with receipts that you may turn into your insurance or flexible benefits program.  We encourage you to ask your insurance benefits manager to cover Virtual Visits, as a means to keep health care costs down for everyone.
